TCPT Courtesy Inspection Checklist

Instructions

Personnel Tab:

  • Do all the drivers in the unit have a Personnel Profile and license information entered in TCPT.  (YES / NO)

Inspection Notes:

·       All divers in the unit should be listed on the Personnel Profile List.  This will allow the drivers to be properly dispatched and to get credit for their miles.

·       Transfer any additional personnel to the “!PCS Holding Unit.”

Click: Personnel => Personnel Profiles => Personnel Profile List

  • Is the “Personnel Availability List” updated? (YES / NO)

Inspection Notes:

·       Validate personnel against MOL Morning Report.

 Click:  Personnel => Personnel Availability => Personnel Availability List

Equipment Tab:

  •  Is all the equipment from the CMR entered into TCPT? (YES / NO)

Inspection Notes:

·       Check to make sure the “Equipment Profile List” matches CMR.

·       Transfer any excess equipment to the “!PCS Holding Unit.”

Click:  Equipment => Equipment Profiles => Equipment Profile List

 

  •  Is the “Equipment Availability List” updated? (YES / NO)

Inspection Notes:

·       Validate all equipment against DRP / GCSS Readiness Report.

Click:  Equipment => Equipment Availability => Equipment Availability List

Transportation Tab:

  • Is the “Transportation Activity Snapshot” being managed properly? (YES / NO)

Inspection Notes:

·       There should be a manageable amount of TMR’s in the “Inbox” and in the “Supporting” bin.

·       At the end of each working day, there should be no TMR’s in the “Inbox.”  They should all have been “Acknowledge / Reviewed” and moved to the “Supporting” bin.

·       Check the TMR’s in the “Submitted” and “Supporting Bin” to see if the dates are current.  Close out any old TMR’s.

·       There should be no TMR’s in the “Declined Bin.”

·       There should be no TMR’s in the “Change Request Bin.”

Click:  Transportation => Transportation Activity Snapshot

 

  •  Is the “Mission” column of the “Transportation Activity Snapshot” being managed properly? (YES / NO)

Inspection Notes:

·       There should be a manageable amount of missions in the “Missions” column. 

·       Check the Missions in the “Active” and “Non-Tracking” bins to see if the dates are current.  Close out any old or previously completed missions.

  • Are vehicle Mishap Reports and Driver Citations being documented in the system properly? (YES / NO)

 Inspection Notes:

·       A vehicle Mishap Report should be created in TCPT once the 22 Line has been submitted and approved.

·       A Driver Citation should be crated in TCPT within 10 days of the unit receiving the citation letter.

Click:  Transportation => Safety

 

Mission Tracker Tab:

  • Are tracked missions on the “Graphic Mission Tracker” being updated and closed out when completed?  (YES / NO)

Inspection Notes:

·       Ensure all displayed missions are current.  Close out any old missions.

  • Are Drivers being properly dispatched on the “Master Log?” (YES / NO)

Inspection Notes:

·       Check multiple days in the master log to see if the drivers names have an “*” next to them.

Example:  PFC DORMINY, RICHARD*

·       The * indicates the dispatcher picked “Other” and wrote in the driver’s name.  The driver may not have a profile in TCPT or he might not be under the correct unit.  Either way, the driver did not get mileage credit for this run.  This is fine if it’s a one-time occurrence, but if it happens on a regular basis it is a problem.  All drivers should have profiles in TCPT.

 

Click: Mission Tracker => Master Log 

  • Is the MT / HE Chief digitally signing the Master Log on a regular basis? (YES / NO)

 Inspection Notes:

  • If the Master Log is awaiting review, there will be a blue link stating:

Review Status: Record your Review of this Master Log

·       If the Master Log has been reviewed, it will state:

 Review Status: Reviewed by GRAHAM, Sgt ALLAN on 04-07-2011 07:37 (L)”

 Click: Mission Tracker => Master Log

 

  •  Have all vehicles been dispatched back in?  (YES / NO)

 Inspection Notes:

·       Search the Master Log for runs that have not been dispatched in.

 Click: 

  • Mission Tracker => Master Log => Master Log Search

  • Click the “Dispatch Status” drop down and select “Dispatched Out.”
